First Day - After Hours

First Day – After Hours is a sequel to the animated short First Day. The story follows Daniel as he discovers what really happens once the school day ends. As it turns out, the teachers never actually go home. With a playful twist and a touch of mystery, the film explores the strange world that comes alive after hours. The project is currently in production and continues the character-driven storytelling introduced in the first film.

Rig Features

For First Day – After Hours, the character rig was extended to support the teachers’ alter ego that appears once night falls. The rig includes a custom eye system that allows the whole eye to transform into animated noise, creating a subtle but unsettling visual effect. This feature was designed to make the transformation easy to trigger in animation
